What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to run your account and to contact you about your videos.
- Photos you upload: the two photos for a video, plus the optional names you type (used only for your caption and gift link).
- Videos: the videos generated for you.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the purchase amount and status, never your card number.
- Usage: basic technical logs and, if enabled, Google Analytics to understand which pages people use.
How we use your photos
Your photos are sent to our AI video provider only to create the video you asked for. They are deleted from our storage within 24 hours. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
How long we keep things
Uploaded photos: up to 24 hours. Generated videos: kept in your account until you delete them or close your account, so you can download them again. Account and purchase records: as long as your account is open and as required for tax and accounting.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores files. Stripe processes payments. Google provides sign-in. An AI video provider generates the videos. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
Your choices
You can delete any video from My videos, and ask us to delete your account and all its data by emailing hello@raptovideo.com.
Children
RapToVideo is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children, and photos of minors are refused.
